CITIZEN'S ACADEMY
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for Citizen’s Academy 2026! The academy will begin in April and continue into May for seven weeks. Class will be held on Thursday evenings (dinner included) from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and two sessions on Saturday, all day (lunch included). You will be contacted via email that your application was received. Applications will be accepted until February 28th and you will be notified if you were chosen for the academy the week of March 9th. Dates of the Academy: April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, and 30th May 2nd, 7th, and graduation will be held on the 14th. To apply, please fill out the application using the button at the right.
