Inmate Worker Program

In order to prevent idleness, promote constructive activities, progress towards reentry, and reinforce positive behavior, the Douglas County Corrections Division has established an Inmate Worker Program.

The program affords inmates the chance to learn and develop good work habits and attitudes that can apply to jobs after their release and reentry into the community.  The program provides qualified inmates the opportunity to work at assigned jobs within the Corrections Division in return for sentence reduction and credit toward court assessed financial obligations.
