Concealed carry handgun registration is done in Douglas County every Monday, except county holidays, from 7 am to 10 am at the Douglas County Correctional Facility. Those wishing to register must do so in person, no information will be taken over the phone.
Applications are available from the Kansas Attorney General's website.
Before submitting your application, you are required to complete the 8 hour concealed carry course taught by a state approved instructor. You must bring your course completion certificate and completed application with you.
Required fingerprint card will be done at time of application.
