Inmate Banking PDF Print
The Douglas County Corrections Division maintains separate money transactions for each inmate in custody.  This is maintained through an Inmate Services Account, which facilitates services such as commissary, haircuts, copy service, notary service, and law brief requests.  If you would like to place money into an inmate's Inmate Services Account, you can mail  a money order or cashier's check to our facility or drop one off in the facility's lobby area.

Commissary is typically ordered and delivered once a week.  With the exception of some holidays, the schedule is as follows:

Tuesday- Commissary sheets are delivered to pod for inmates to request items

Wednesday- Commissary sheets are picked up, tallied, and sent to commissary vendor for placement of orders

Thursday- Commissary boxes are delivered via mail carrier and delivered to inmate housing units

If you wish for an inmate to purchase an item, such as stamps, before the end of the week; they will need to have their money deposited into the Inmate Services Account by Monday afternoon.

Questions about inmate banking can be directed to Inmate Services.
