  The Douglas County Sheriff's Office strives to build and maintain strong community relations.
Two members of the Sheriff's Office, Sgt. Lyle Hagenbuch and Sgt. Ed Swanson continue these efforts through participation in various school and community events. Some of these events include classroom presentations on safety issues for children and child passenger safety awareness.
